How to Change Your Time Zone in cPanel

The phrase "time zone" refers to a geographical area that follows a set of rules for social, commercial, and legal purposes. Because it is more practical for locations that often communicate to preserve the same time, time zones typically follow borders between countries and their subdivisions rather than strictly following longitude.

 

If the wrong time is being displayed in your server's applications, scripts, or services, you can fix the problem by changing the time zone. We'll show you how to change your time zone in cPanel in this tutorial. This isn't always the case with all programs, though.

 

By default, apps use the host server's time zone. If you are in a different time zone, you can alter this setting.
