We are currently replacing all our UK systems with new fully owned servers, located in one of the UK's leading datacentres - Telehouse South in central London. We have also built a network with 25x more capacity than our current systems, ensuring every server has cutting-edge performance available.
For advanced users: As part of this migration your website's IP address will change, because we are moving to IP ranges which we directly own. If you do not use our nameservers the new IP you will need will be listed on our status page from September 29th. Web requests and mail from the old IP will be proxied to the new system for at least 1 week to ease the transition. This is the last time we anticipate needing to change IPs for this kind of work, because we are bringing full control of our network in-house. Affecting Server - s3141 (s1478 & S915)
As part of our recent upgrades to NVMe servers, on Sunday August 14th we will be replacing the server R218 which run your hosting account.
The new server includes fast AMD EPYC CPUs, NVMe storage, and updated software. Both these old servers use the Centos 7 operating system which is unfortunately no longer supported, meaning that we need to replace with a new system. Additionally, we are now using latest-generation hardware for vastly improved performance, at no extra cost.
During this work you may notice a short period of downtime (under 15 minutes in most cases) as your account is copied to the new system, but please contact us if you see any problems or have any questions
Important: As part of this upgrade your website's IP address will change. If you do not use our nameservers the new IP you will need is: 23.106.236.210. If you have any queries or would like your account copying at an arranged time in advance, please create a support ticket and we can assist. Web requests from the old IP will be also proxied to the new system to ease the transition.
Please note: Your existing server uses Linode as the underlying provider. Whilst we cannot deploy the all-nvme hardware on Linode, we are still operating Cloudlinux 8 Linode shared/reseller servers in London on a per-request basis. If you have a preference to stay on Linode please let me know and we can discuss the details.

NVMe Upgrades
We are in the process of migrating our older hardware to new systems. In some cases we can perform the work with a quick reboot and in other cases new hardware and new IPs are required. This status update contains details of the servers which we have upgraded so far, and the new IPs where necessary.
